The New Stranger Things Season Has Everyone’s Minds Blown 🤯

Stranger Things 4, the fourth season of the American science fiction horror drama television series Stranger Things, was published in two volumes on Netflix globally. On May 27, 2022, the first set of seven episodes was published, and the second set, consisting of 2 episodes, will be released on July 1, 2022. Strange deaths linked to the Upside Down inspire panic among Hawkins’ people in the fourth season, which begins eight months after the third season ends.

The first seven episodes of the season have received mostly good reviews. While some complimented the performances (especially Bower, Brown, Quinn, and Sink), visuals, action scenes, and the darker, more mature tone compared to previous seasons, others panned it for feeling bloated and overlong owing to the longer episode runtimes.

What is season 4 all about?

The fourth season is divided into three primary plotlines and begins in March 1986, eight months after the events of the third season.

The first storyline takes set in Hawkins, where a number of teens are mysteriously dead. Dustin, Max, Erica, Steve, Nancy, Robin, Lucas, and Eddie Munson, the head of the Hellfire Club, a Dungeons & Dragons organization that Dustin and his pals are a part of. Eddie becomes the leading murder suspect, and he is pursued by Jason and the rest of the basketball team, who think Eddie used demonic abilities to murder Jason’s fiancée Chrissy. Dustin and his companions investigate and learn that the killings were committed by a strong monster known as Vecna (a D&D villain), who resides in the Upside Down.

Mike pays a visit to Eleven, Will, and Jonathan at their new house in California in the second subplot. Due to the events in Hawkins and the impending danger to her companions, Eleven travels to a hidden facility with Dr. Brenner and Owens to help her regain her powers. Mike, Will, Jonathan, and Jonathan’s pal Argyle set out to find Eleven.

The third subplot involves Joyce and Murray, who are ordered to bring money to arrange for Hopper’s relocation after learning that he may still be alive. Meanwhile, Hopper is imprisoned in a Russian gulag in Kamchatka, where he is preparing to fight a Demogorgon that the Russians have caught as a gladiator-style amusement for the prison guards, or face death.
