In 2022, samoyeds are the most expensive dogs in the world, selling for about $14,000. A breed of medium-sized herding dogs known as the Samoyed has thick, double-layered white fur. The Samoyedic people of Siberia are the source of the name for this spitz-type dog breed.

An adult male can weigh between 45 and 65 pounds, and an adult female can weigh between 35 and 50 pounds.

Samoyeds are exceptionally sociable dogs who frequently enjoy spending time with families. They are typically excellent with children and will be very devoted to the entire family with the right socialization, though they occasionally may favor one particular person.
